Illustration Experiment (Full process of my Red Fred Illustration)

(turn up your volume as there is talking all through the video)

This was originally a quick exercise for me to get back into painting after an arm injury but I ended up
getting into it and really liking it. I'm not sure why I decided to film it, more just for my own
reference I suppose. Was good fun to create any way.

I did do a full length (3 hour) video where I actually talked all the way through the process of
painting and talked about other random crap which I may put out there at some point if anyone is
interested, it's much more in depth about what I was doing.

The sound recording is not great, I had a cold and just did it in one take without too much thought
so I apologise if it's not that interesting to listen to.

Also this is by no means a tutorial in anything as I don't consider myself a teacher or good
at painting/illustration but if it helps anyone then thats great.

Kayleigh & Kenneth's Wedding

Kayleigh and Kenny got married on the 26th of August in the beautiful surroundings of Haddo House and
whoever picked that date deserves a pat on the back as they couldn't have asked for better weather.
The venue was an amazing place, you could have chosen anywhere in or around the venue to
photograph and it would have looked great with the huge gardens, surrounding trees and the
stone building, it was a perfect setting.

It was a truly great day filled with great moments and great people. Congratulations again to the newly weds.

I wish you both all the best and I hope you like the photos.

Monster Shark Video And Instrumental

I made this video to go with the 'Monster Shark' demo instrumental I created recently.
This is my first attempt at a video with my 5d mark 2.

I wanted to create something quite surreal and visually off balance to match the music.
The idea was to create tension and motion in the first half that drags you into the video
and intrigue the viewer but the second half was designed to slowly pull the viewer out
of the scene so you never really know whats going on, really an attempt to add some
mystery to the whole video. I tend to get bored with videos and movies that follow
all the conventional story telling tricks.

This was a fun project from start to finish. I will be creating much more of these in the
future so watch this space as I'm sure they will be getting bigger and better. Stay tuned.

DIY DSLR Shoulder Rig Video

A quick video showing the DSLR shoulder rig I built for my 5D mark 2. I wanted to start shooting video
with the camera and needed some extra stability, so rather than spend a hell of a lot of money on a
well over priced pro one I decided to try and build my own. This is the result.

I had to use the built in mic on my camera to record this as my Zoom H1 is broke so the sound isn't great.

Quick Banana Ice Cream Recipe

Cat making some quick banana ice cream as we had a spare minute and some spare bananas.

It tastes awesome by the way.
